Here at YWAM West Virginia we feel called to be a light to the mountainous places of the world! “After the Mountains” Trekking and Outdoors DTS is for people who are passionate about the outdoors and want to take God’s Kingdom to the hard places of the world.

Learning in the classroom
This Discipleship Training School follows the same DTS Curriculum with the focus on trekking & outdoors! During the classroom phase you will be learning how to go deeper with God, finding out who He has called you to be, and preparing yourself spiritually and physically for outreach and beyond. Our YWAM Center is located right in the Appalachian Mountains with easy access to parks with beautiful hiking trails and outdoor activities.
Outreach Prep
Even if you aren’t super fit upon arrival, we will take time each week throughout the classroom phase to help you prepare for an outreach that goes to a mountainous region of the world. We will also cover some aspects of what it takes to pioneer a new ministry. If you have a heart to persevere both spiritually and physically then this is the DTS for you!
